Stalk much?

Posted on August 25, 2008

this is just a photo of one of those thingies– I don’t know what it’s called. I always think of it as Ginger because I vaguely recall the super secret project being called Ginger.

Anyhoo I stalked this poor family waiting for my moment to sneak a photo.

Quirky

Posted on July 26, 2008

I was tagged by Jenty a couple of days ago. Like I said I usually just let these tags die a slow death but it’s Friday night and I’m bored out of my mind so here goes.

6 Quirky things about myself.

1) I can’t eat cold fruit. I think it’s unnatural. All fruit should be room temperature.

2) When I lived in SC I would get so bored that I would go to Wal Mart and fill my cart up with things I wanted then just abandon it. I would spend hours at a time doing this. Woohoo fun times!

3) I never sneeze just once. or twice. or three times. or even four times. I almost always sneeze 6 time if not more. People tell me my sneezes sound like cat sneezes.

4) I owned my first pair of store bought trousers when I went to Jr High– they were a pair of red Levi cords w/ yellow stitching. I hardly ever wore trousers and I remember how excited I was about those levis! I remember the zip zip sound they made as the thighs rubbed together. I would rub my legs together on purpose just to make that sound.

5) I don’t like cherry tomatoes– they make my tongue swell up. I can eat sliced tomatoes on sandwiches or w/ a slice of buffalo mozzarella.

6) I don’t have any childhood memories. Does that mean I’m psychologically screwed??

I’m not going to tag anyone.

25lbsin25wks update: I lost another pound So I’m down 3.5 lbs at the moment!!

Meme

Posted on June 22, 2008

This is usually where meme’s come to die but I kinda liked this one so here goes.

What I was doing 10 years ago: I was living in Greenwood, South Carolina. I was married and working for a large Pharmaceutical company. I was deeply unhappy but unable/afraid to make the changes that I needed to make.

What is on your to do list today (in no particular order): I need to clean the house, bake some cupcakes for Wednesday, catch up on emails and upload some photos.

Snacks I enjoy: I’m a savory snack person. I like anything salty.

Things I would I do if I was a billionaire: I would set up a trust so that my family would be able to achieve their dreams. Although they would have to earn it and would gain access to it in stages. I wouldn’t tell them how much I was worth because I wouldn’t want them to expect anything. I would buy some land in Rhode Island– on the coast. I would build a large family home. I would also have a home in the south pacific. I’d also like to keep apartments in some major cities in Europe. I would invest. I would like to think I wouldn’t have plastic surgery but I think I would be lying to you. I would pursue my dream of being a photographer. I would travel! travel! travel! I would take my family on a sailing trip around the world. I would give some of it away.

Places I have lived: Massachusetts, South Carolina and Manchester, England.

Jobs I have had: Too many to list! I’ve sold shoes, coffee, dresses and pharmaceuticals. I’ve waitressed. I’ve done customer service. I’ve worked in nursing homes and group homes. I’ve made the donuts. I’ve worked in a sweat shop. I’ve been a MH counselor. I’m going to stop now. I’m getting depressed– the things you do when you put yourself through uni!

I’m not going to tag anyone. If anyone would like to do this knock yourselves out.
