Squidgyboo & Co.

SquidgyMum (AKA Lindy):

A US ex-pat living in England. I moved to Manchester in May 2005. Other than missing scorching hot summers I love it here. People who block my driveway are the bane of my existence. People who block my driveway are no longer the bane of my existence– we moved!! At the moment I’m a stay at home mom. I’m taking courses at the local college, I’m using the time off from ‘work’ to go back and get some UK qualification still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I am currently remodeling the 1930’s semi we purchased in 2010.  Wallpapered ceilings are now the bane of my existence. I love cooking, photography, Squidge, Wal, being creative. In 2007 I set myself a goal to learn to FINALLY bake. I’m happy to say that I achieved that goal. My new goal is to find myself a job.

SquidgyDad (AKA Wal):

Born and raised in the Cheshire countryside. He moved to the US on a one year assignment, while there his company was sold leaving him stranded, in the bible belt, good times!! Six years later he finally found his way back to god’s country England.

Wal and I met while both living in South Carolina. He moved back to England and I stayed in South Carolina. I stalked him We realized it was more fun when we were together, I moved to England to be with him. Nine months after a night of mucho beer, a sofa and a little incontinence we were the proud owners of Squidgyboo. I’ve always wanted a Pod of my own and without actually trying very hard I’ve found myself a pretty good one.

Squidgyboo (AKA Squidge):

was born June 2006 in Manchester England. We, the keepers of Squidge think she’s great!! This blog is pretty basic– it’s ALL ABOUT SQUIDGE. I’m not trying to make any money or win any popularity contests. I’m not a frustrated writer. I don’t pretend to be an academic extraordinaire. I’m just a girl who met a boy who had a baby trying to keep in touch with those people that matter.
