Weight Watchers Wednesday

Week: 73 Weight loss this week: +.5 Total weight loss: 41 (review at end)

A gain… le sigh. I’m not surprised but I am disappointed! On Thursday a good friend and I went out for Lebanese food. I’m not going to lie, I threw Weight Watchers out the window and ate my heart out. I figured I had all week to get back on track. I was hoping to stay the same so a 1/2 lb weight gain was a little dissapointing it could have been soo much worse! If you’re ever in South Manchester and you fancy a fantastic meal you need to try JAS JAS JAS. I know. I know. You’re thinking Lindy– what are you doing? The thing is you can eat there and not gain 1/2 lb. Just be sensible and you will not regret it!  I think this is what I love about Weight Watchers, the fact that I can have a blow out and it doesn’t mean I’m doomed. Yes I had a gain. Yes I’m dissapointed but I’m still working at it. I WILL get to my goal weight but I still want to enjoy my life. I might be taking a while longer than I expected but I’m more conscious of what I eat, how much I eat and how active I am.  All of that has to be taken into account. I could have gone on a crash diet and lost 50 lbs quickly but would it have lasted? How many people do you know do the crash diet thing and keep it off?

The plan for this week is to eat a lot of healthy veggie meals, 0 propoint veggie soup for lunch and walk a bit more this week.

I’ve been working my way through my Weight Watchers hamper and I have to say the blueberry slices are delish.

One of my favourite English pasteries is a vanilla slice. I love custard, pastry and a slab of icing over the top. Om nom nom! Needless to say I don’t have them often (if ever) now. The blueberry slices from Weight Watchers has that slab of icing over the top that I (apparently) love. I didn’t know I loved it or even missed it until I tried the cake and oooooh my sweet baby jeebus it was orgasmic. The cake is a little dry but have it w/ a mug of black tea (save points by not having milk) and it hit the sweet tooth spot!

I was supplied w/ a selection of Weight Watchers food to review. All opinions are my own. I joined Weight Watchers of my own free will and continue to be a Weight Watchers member because I know it works.
