British Museum

On Sunday we hopped on a train and headed down to London. When I say we hopped on a train I really do mean we hopped on it. We couldn’t find our tickets so left the house 15 minutes later than planned. As we got to the station we saw our train puling in so we hauled ass to try and get on it. I still can’t believe we made it!

Once we got to London I felt like a local! Wal wanted to go to the British Museum and I had stayed at a hotel right around the corner so off we went with me leading the way. Me! Who gets lost walking around the corner!!

The first thing we looked at was the Rosetta Stone. I mean it’s the ROSETTA STONE!! I can’t tell you how exciting it was explaining the stone to Squidge. We spent a fun few hours walking around trying to find all the items on our map. I love that museums in England are free and they totally include kids. Squidge had a blast and it was a great way to spend a grey Sunday afternoon.

    • Tell me about it! I’ve been twice now and I don’t think I’ve seen 1/3 of it yet! Next time we go to London I think we’re going to head over to the Natural History Museum.
