Weeklies 7/9

Back to school this week! I can’t believe my baby is start­ing Yr 2!  I had to dou­ble check because it just feels weird to write that down.  As is my usual pro­cras­tint­ing ways I found myself at 7:30 Tues­day morn­ing (that’s the first day of school in case you’re keep­ing score) sewing labels onto her uniforms.

Squidge was given a flower press for her birth­day and we finally tried it out. It was lots of fun find­ing flow­ers that would work but the wait­ing a week almost did my imme­di­ate grat­i­fi­ca­tion girl in!  Don’t know what I’m going to do with the dried flower but I’m sure we’ll think of something.

My favorite pic­ture of the week. We cycled to school every day– it was bright, sunny, warm and dry all week. On Thurs­day because the weather was so nice and lord only knows how long it’s going to last, we went to the park. A few of her class­mates decided to join us and after stop­ping off at the Co-Op for some Nob­bly Bob­blies this hap­pened. This right here are what mem­o­ries are made of. 4 friends stopped on the merry-go-round eat­ing ice cream.
