Weeklies 10/8

We’re in full hol­i­day mode here at Squidgy­boo which this sum­mer means we don’t have any planned activ­i­ties. It’s pretty refresh­ing to be hon­est. After 11 months of hav­ing our days planned with school and extra-curricular activ­i­ties not hav­ing any­thing planned at.all. is lib­er­at­ing and just what the doc­tor ordered.  So far we’ve done a lot of read­ing, have gone to visit old friends and taken in some old Roman sites.  Have watched 2 Olympic women’s foot­ball matches– Go USA!!  We’ve had play­dates and sleep­overs and chat­ting to besties until mid­night. We’ve rid­den on trains and buses and walked when we’ve felt like it.  We’ve spent our time build­ing mem­o­ries. It’s a good thing.  How about you? What have you been doing with your summer?
