the one with the bowling

Posted by on February 9, 2010

Yesterday we headed out to the bowling alley with our friend Byrney and her boys.  Her oldest boy is having a party there and she wanted to check out the food.  Somehow she found out that they were having free bowling on Monday so we high tailed it over there.  The bowling was a big hit– surprise! Not.  After the kids had their fill of bowling we ordered lunch.  She was trying to figure out if she would do bowling and the meal at the alley or split it.  We deliberated over the lunch menu trying to decide what to get.  We asked the staff how big the pizza was and were told it was huge! So we decided to split it.  Well as you can probably guess our little pizza was teeny.  Although they did slice it so that we all got 2 slices they were tiny, miniscule, bits of pizza!

While we were bowling Squidge suddenly decided she needed to hold Baby A.  She was fascinated by him and didn’t want to give him up not even when she had to bowl! She keeps asking for a brother/sister and well it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen!  I did get a little sad thinking that she is going to be an only child!  Ah well I’ll just have to ‘adopt’ a stray…

Poor little A didn’t want anything to do with her! LOL but she didn’t care and just kept squeezing and giving him kisses! That’s my girl!

Hmm pizza was rubbish!! Bowling was great though!!
I think Austin wasn’t comfy…they were perched on a tiny bench so he kept sliding off. Meant to let her hold him on the bigger chairs by the bar but we had to run off for the Sky man!!
