Well we made it across the pond OK. In fact it was more than OK, I actually slept! Yep you heard me correctly I make a transatlantic flight w/ a 3 year old and took a nice loooon nap. Pleas keep me in your prayers that this happens again on the way back!! We picked up a portable DVD player and some nice comfy headphones and it was the best thing we ever did. For the first half of the flight she watched some DVD’s and then after lunch she watched the on-board cartoons. For the most part she was quiet. The only stress she gave me was wanting to PEEEEE PEEEEE MAAAAAMA PEEEE PEEEE right before we landed. You know AFTER they lock the toilets and tell you to keep yo ass in the seat. The stewardess (it was a man should I call him a steward?) unlocked it for me and it was fine– if a bit stressful. We also had a big drinker sitting next to us. I was a bit worried that a crazy German woman was going to get all air ragey on us. In the end she just got really chatty and laughed at her own jokes. Last night we didn’t do much of anything and today we did a quicky visit to some of my relatives. By far Squidges favorite part was this.

My kids love to trampoline. Dylan belongs to a club and is starting to get on very nicely now. He took part in his first competiton the other day and won two medals.
