Ugh!

I’m get­ting a head cold. Wal is leav­ing on an unex­pected trip to Turkey tomor­row and won’t return until Mon­day.  It totally sucks when he has to go away over the week­end!  The newly installed tub leaks.  I know it leaks because after giv­ing Squidge a bath we came down stairs to read bed­time sto­ries only to find the sofa soaked and water still leak­ing from the ceil­ing.  This hap­pened AFTER we checked and dou­ble checked for leaks and have taken baths since check­ing.  I took a bath yes­ter­day and Wal took one this morn­ing and we didn’t have any leaks what­so­ever!  Grrr Wal worked late tonight get­ting ready for Turkey and just doesn’t have the time to take care of it.  Can you tell I’m frus­trated?  Before my cold really kicked in and kicked my butt Squidge and I went to Fog Lane Park. What a beau­ti­ful sunny day we had today– so glad I went now as I think I’m going to hun­ker down and shiver under the cov­ers for the next few days.

 

I’m also a bit bummed out about not being able to go to Har­ro­gate.  Wal was going to attend a trade show tomor­row.  We were going to hang out being a tourist for a cou­ple of hours then  he was to meet us for tea.  Aah well I sup­pose I would have had a hor­ri­ble time since I now have a cold.  It’s prob­a­bly best that plans changed.  Ya.right.

Oh and sorry if this doesn’t make any sense– I should be in bed not screw­ing around on the computer.
