a-squidgy-boo
into my Aunt Liliana’s work room (should I call it a studio as most bloggers do?). She has 2 industrial sewing machines, a serger and various other bits and bobs. I’d love to have the space she has!
She also has this little guy– her grandson Abe, isn’t he the cuties thing you’ve ever seen?!??!!
Squidge thought he was pretty fab too.

While I was in the US last week I did a little shopping. Most of the shopping involved getting equipped for our ski trip but I did manage to stop in at Williams-Sonoma. I picked up this little bad boy and I’m excited beyond words!! I’m going to use it to make an apple pie Saturday.
Innit just the purdiest thing you ever did see?? My pure glee in this gadget is a sure sign that I really am getting more and more domestic by the day! I also picked up some silicone cupcake cups– the ones with the silly feet are my favorites.
I’m looking forward to baking w/ Squidge in a couple of months.
Yesterday we went to Cheshire Oaks and they have some fab kitchen shops, including a Le Creuset shop. I didn’t buy anything from there but I’m fairly certain the staff had to mop up after my trail of drool– I could have done some serious damage to my Wal’s credit card in there!

She hardly talks to me. She won’t give me a good night hug. She likes to read my blog. She’s a cutie patootie. When she was ikle she wouldn’t talk to me and wouldn’t even look at me!
Still I think she’s fab and I can’t wait until August… you better watch out Haley!
I’m hoping these three will have a great time together at the beach. Can you tell I’m excited and already counting down??!!

I had a bit of a layover in Amsterdam so I picked up what has to be the CHEESIEST gift ever– Clogs
As expected they were a big hit with Squidge!
There hasn’t been much going on in the crafting front. This blog is supposed to feature some of what I have been working on but honestly I haven’t been doing much other than baking and that’s not going well either. 
I should have known it wasn’t going to end well when I had a hell of a time melting the chocolate. Does chocolate go bad? I used a package of chocolate chips that had been in the cupboard for over a year.
We ate a couple but it wasn’t very nice so I chucked them in the bin. My wrist still bothers me so I haven’t been working on my scarf much. I have a few ideas floating around my head and will start working on them when I get back from my ski trip. Did I mention I’m going skiing? Yep picked up Squidges ski outfit yesterday and just need a few more bits and bobs for myself.
