I baked a cake on Sunday to take to Joy’s house.
Boston Cream Pie– it was a bit nerve wracking as Wal said it smelled like wet dog. Not exactly what you want to hear when you’re taking a cake you’ve never made before to a friends house. A new friend who might not appreciate a wet dog smelling cake!! All was well and everyone pretended that the cake was yummy. Thanks Joy and Co!!
One of the mostest bestest things about baking with kids (BWK) is that they like to lick the bowl.
I went to the walk in centre at Withington community hospital because of my wrist. The diagnosis is tendinitis. I was told I should rest it. No cooking, cleaning or lifting Squidge– like that’s going to happen.
Sorry about the wrist. At least you found something out.. I hope it gets better soon. And thanks for the advcie about the early AM feed… It worked last night. yay!
