Lookie what Santa left under the tree!!
After careful consideration and much much much hand wringing. I finally decided on the Nikon D40. Deciding to purchase this camera was a very tough decision especially for someone who is usually pretty darn decisive. I fought long and hard against my natural tendency to go for a camera w/ more megapixels. I chose this one because all of the reviews said it was a great easy to use camera. I toyed w/the D40x but again every review said it was a waste of money, not worth $$ for the extra megapixals. I think I made the right decision. I’ve used it loads and it’s a really great camera. I’ve only ever used it on auto as I don’t have a handle on how it works and have been too busy taking care of Squidge to properly read the manual.
Squidge is still not 100% but is showing signs of improvement. She’s very pale and tires easily. We’re struggling trying to decide what is wrong with her. We think she’s teething. We think she still has a bit of a cold. We think that she has been having terrible headaches. We don’t know what to think. We went to Eureka today and she had a fantabulous time.

Then she got home and had a melt down. She had a bath but did not enjoy it. Now if you had ever seen Squidge in a tub you’d know that is a sure sign to worry. The girl loves her bath. Tonight she was tentative, whiny, crying and wanted lots of hugs. I’ve been giving her Calpofen but I don’t think it really does much. I have a little bit of baby Motrin from the US I’ve been hoarding and I gave her some tonight– like a magic elixir! She was back to herself 10 minutes after taking it.

Whenever our kids were sick we would alwwwaaaays blame it on teething. Because sometimes there just aren’t any answers…

Have you taken her to the doctor? Maybe it’s her ears? Hope you find the cause soon and she can get better.

Glad you’re feeling better — I was sick as a dog for Christmas and we’ve got no pictures of the boys either, but at least everyone is happy, so that’s good. I’m interested in that camera — I’m thinking of getting something better than what I have, but I’m at the very beginning of thinking about it, so I have much research to do…
