Ok I was tagged a while back and haven’t had a chance to reply… I’ll get to it I promise.
Things here are going pretty good. I picked up my red Kitchenaid mixer! Woohoo! I had a 20% coupon for BedBath and Beyond so I saved $60!! Now I just have to figure out how to get that puppy home!
My sister was diagnosed w/ Lyme disease today. We kinda knew she had it but it still sucks. She recently started a new job but the health insurance doesn’t start until July 1. She tried to hold out going to the doctor until then but she couldn’t do it. Too much pain, she felt like she was dying. Anyhoo she’s home and on antibiotics and hopefully she will make a full recovery!
I’m still working on the damn computer. I finally got all the worms and trojan viruses removed. No more weird and (not so ) wonderful pop ups!
Squidges bithday pary is the Saturday. I’m very excited. Oh I got my hair cut! I soo totally hate it. I wanted a (i’m ashamed to admit this) Victoria Beckham hair cut. Instead I look like the stereotypical lesbian. Not that there is anything wrong w/ looking like a stereotypical lesbian it just wan’t what I asked for. So I’m going to have a house full of family I haven’t seen in a couple of years and I look like a lesbian– greeeat.

Squidge is ONE today! I love her more than I ever imagined I could love anyone!
Sorry still no pics. I’m still trying to remove the 975 trojans and worms the virus scan has found. I kid you not, I’m amazed this computer didn’t implode!

Hiya! I’m still here just having some MAJOR computer issues! My dad’s computer is riddled and I mean RIDDLED w/ what I can only assume are viruses. I’ve been trying to work my way through all the issues but it looks like it will be a while before I resume normal blogging activity.
All is well here in Massachusetts. Squidge had a couple of days when all these crazy Americans scared the shit out of her but she’s back to her old smiley self. We went to a water park yesterday– it was FREEZING and it wasn’t all that much fun but the potential for a great time was there. I might go back when it’s warmer– the Squidge demands it I think.
We’re off to NYC on Thursday. I’m hoping to have downloaded photos by then. I don’t want to attach anything to this computer until I have all it’s ‘issues’ resolved.
Well I’m off before this computer freezes up again and I lose this post. Miss everyone in the UK and I hope you’re not too water logged!
Dress

OK so this one almost did my head in! I really need to get over my fear of patterns. Again I winged it without a pattern and this time it was almost too much for me. I’m soo very tired and have a headache. I love love love the fabric (purchased at John Lewis) and the dress really does look adorable. The zipper really had me flummoxed for over an hour and it really looks like crap from the inside. BUT you don’t see the inside of the zipper so I’m still very pleased w/ it. I’m going to have Boo wearing the dress when she disembarks from the plane on Tuesday. I know I’m pretty corny!

To my Dad. I miss him everyday and will be home soon! I know he’s going to lock me in the basement until I update his website but he wouldn’t be my daddy if he didn’t expect me to not only know HOW to do it but to do it well and he wouldn’t be my daddy if he didn’t change what he wanted as soon as I finish so that I have to start all over again.
It’s also Father’s day here in England. So to Wallywoo– happy first father’s day. We’ve been home watching tennis and the US Grand Prix. I’ve baked a cake and we’re having chili and coriander lamb burgers for supper. Excitement to be had by all!!
