So the mom blogger world is all a twitter over a recent NBC segment on mums who drink while w/ their kids. Meredeth Vieira asked what the difference was between the mum and a babysitter. It seems like a pretty stupid question and one that begs the imagination. I didn’t watch it as I’m all the way across the pond but apparently it wasn’t a pretty sight. It’s a good thing I didn’t watch it because I probably would have broken my television when I threw the bottle of wine I’d consumed the night before at it!!

Hey, I did see the show. I am ashamed of meredith for not speaking up on behalf of the mom. (Any mom who would be upset about someone having a glass of wine is probably a closet drinker!!) That “dr.” on the show was very annoying, she seemed to be talking down to the girl.…people like that get under my skin. Anything goes when it comes to ratings on tv here in the US…even if it means a few casualties along the way! I’m glad to see most people are sticking with us moms.
listen up, america. my granny raised nine kids and booze is the reason they are all alive today.
mommies are people, too. give us our wine and shut up!
