Thanksgiving

Woohoo we’ve booked our flights and are head­ing to NB on the 21st!! I’ve very excited I can’t wait to see every­one and eat lots of turkey!!Nothing too excit­ing going on here. Set­tling into domes­tic life and being a mom. Squidgy­boo and I con­tinue to go to a cou­ple of baby groups. At this point I’m get­ting more out of them but she does seem to enjoy them. She was sick a cou­ple of weeks ago then I got sick and now she’s sick again. She had a fever last night and hasn’t been eat­ing much. We went to the GP this morn­ing and were told to just keep doing what we have been.

Have I men­tioned I’m going bald?? Sup­posed to be a post preg­nancy thing but HOLY COW there’s a lot of hair falling out!! I’m hop­ing it will stop soon.

We went to a old mar­ket town yes­ter­day in the Peak Dis­trict called Bakewell. It was very pretty. We walked around bought some bakewell tarts (what they’re famous for) and fed the ducks.

Well I can hear Squidgy­boo crying…gotta go!





Sunflower

Hiya!! I hope every­one had a nice Hal­loween!! Squidgy­boo and I went to one of her baby groups and we had a pretty good time. Squidgy­boo went as a sunflower(thanks for the cos­tume Sherry!!). She looked adorable (even if I do say so myself!). She was the only flower at the party. There were loads of pump­kins and cats. Every­one looked really cute.

Squidgy­boo has a lit­tle bit of a cold, her nose and eyes are run­ning and she’s been sneez­ing a lot. We went to the GP’s office today and she’s alright. I was told to just keep giv­ing her the med­ica­tion I bought at the pharmacy.

Things in Man­ches­ter are good. The weather finally turned cold but it’s not wet so it’s still good. I’m booked in for dri­ving lessons and have my first one on Mon­day. I’ve been dri­ving since I arrived here but I need to make it legal. Not that I wasn’t legal… you can drive under your US license for one year and my year was up in May so tech­ni­cally I haven’t been legal for 6 months. I’ll keep every­one posted on the dri­ving lessons.
We’re still plan­ning on com­ing to NB for Thanks­giv­ing. I think I’m com­ing for a lit­tle over 3 weeks. I can’t wait to see every­one!! Well I’m tired so I’m off to bed.
